Clockwork → Electronics
The electronics of Clockwork are simple. All are close-circuit and only work with others within the city limits, they can not connect to outside sources from the living or dead world. Cell phones can call other cell phones in the city and access their journals. The journals are electronic ones that people can write in via laptop, voice post, or, if your character is so skilled, from some other electronic device they're able to connect to the network with. All journals are linked through one another, and you are able to comment to one another. You can use filters to specific people, private entries to yourself, and there are levels of being hackable or not. Comments to be filtered to groups or individuals as well. Filtered/Private posts and comments should be labeled according to the ability it would take to hack into them (ex; hackable, semi-hackable, hackable with skill, unhackable, etc.). Likewise, muns should keep in mind their own characters' ability as far as computers go before they filter or privatize an entry. Also, please ask other muns if you intend to have your character hack the entry; it's only polite! (In journals, please friends lock entries containing mature and not-safe-for-work themes (violence, gore, sex, etc.). We'd like the public part of the RP to keep a PG-13 rating.) Residents are provided with an electronic journal as soon as they arrive. All communication, unless otherwise specified, is open and viewable to everyone else in the building!
