☆ Godmodding. We all hate it. Don't do it. ☆ Plots. If you want to create a major plot point that will affect the majority of the characters in play or the building and city residents, please run your ideas past a mod first. We don't want things to happen that could potentially destroy everyone without them knowing. ☆ Stay in character. We understand that personalities and characterizations change over the course of the game, but if Lord Voldemort shows up on his first day wearing a pink frilly lolita dress, then we have a problem. ☆ Activity Checks. Are real. Characters are required to post in their journals at least twice every month (One if they're exceptionally active in comments.) Players must post logs (if it's in third person; we expect a minimum of two tags per character) with at least one of their characters at least once every month. There will be two activity check per month. One for Logs/Threads and one for journals. Both will done around the end of the month. However, a week before it happens, we'll announce it via the OOC community for your convenience. Characters will have a time tolerance until the next activity check to post over their journals, if they don't post or log, they'll be removed from the game. ☆ Death. Character death does happen, but we do need rules for it, being such, here they are: Normal Death: ie; murder, falling from a building, etc. lasts 72 hours. Assisted Suicide: ie; having someone shoot your character lasts 72 hours. Suicide: ie; over dosing, self-inflicted wounds, etc. is permanent in which case you forfeit your character and must re-apply to play another version of them, if you wish to do so. The mods ask that you do keep them informed of deaths happening in the community, but they no longer require permission with the exception of killing sprees (characterized by three or more deaths in three days), which do require permission. If the mods feel that things are getting out of hand with too many deaths happening then they reserve the right to step in. ☆ Character versions. We accept different versions of each character (typically two, though if a case can be made for two separate variants being unique characters, we will listen) and you may have seven characters total but you are only allowed to play a single version of any one character. As in you are not allowed to play a character from one point in canon and then apply for the exact same character from another point in canon as well. Only one version per player. ☆ Real people. Not allowed. No Britney Spears or George Washingtons will be allowed, if they are taken straight from history (or from bibliographies, autobiographies and documentaries).
